　　農歷八月十五，是中國的傳統節日中秋節。

　　中秋節這天，中國人有賞月和吃月餅的習俗。秋季，天氣晴朗、涼爽，天空很少出現浮云，夜空的月亮也顯得特別明亮, 尤其是在八月十五的晚上。按照傳統習慣，中國人在賞月時，還要擺出水果和月餅等食品，一邊賞月一邊品嘗。

　　因為月餅是圓的，象征著團圓，所以有的地方也叫它“團圓餅”。中秋節的晚上，全家人坐在一起賞月、吃月餅，心里充滿了豐收的喜悅和團聚的歡樂。這時，遠離家鄉的人也會仰望明月，思念故鄉和親人。

　　On that day, the Chinese have the custom of admiring the moon and eating moon cakes. According to traditional custom, the Chinese people enjoy fruits and moon cakes while admiring the moon.

　　As the moon cake is round, symbolizing reunion, it is sometimes called “reunion cake”. On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the whole fam ily will sit together to admire the moon and eat moon cakes, filled with happiness for the harvest and a family reunion. 　　The Mid-Autumn Festival The Mid-Autumn is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on the 15th day of August. A few days before the festival， everyone in the family will help to make the house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front of the house.

　　中秋節中秋節是中國一個很重要的節日，在八月十五號。在節日來臨的前幾天，家庭中的每一個人都幫著打掃房子，把房子裝扮得漂漂亮亮的，燈籠掛在屋前。

　　On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away from their homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner， people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with their own toy lanterns happily.

　　晚上有一頓美餐，離家在外工作的人也要回來團圓。晚飯后，人們點亮燈籠，一般是紅色的圓燈籠。孩子們會高高興興地玩他們的玩具燈籠。

　　At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can look back on the past and look forward to the future together.

　　晚上月亮又圓又大，人們在賞月的同時吃著中秋節特別的食品——月餅。人們在一起回顧過去，展望未來。
