Chinese Speaking Contest
December 22，
To improve students’ ability to speak Chinese and enrich after-class activities， the Students’ union of Department of Chinese Language and Literature is organizing a school-wide Chinese speaking contest to be held on Saturday next week （29 December） at the Students’ Auditorium. Those who are interested in taking part in it may sign up with the monitor of their classes before Tuesday next week. Five professors will be invited to be judges. The first six winners will be given awards. Everybody is welcome to be present at the contest.

英語課來了，我非常高興，應(yīng)為英語課是我最拿手的一科，可老師讓我失去了對英語的信心，為什么呢？請聽我慢慢講起。
上課了，我心里暗暗發(fā)喜，大顯身手的時刻到了，每次老師提問題我就積極舉手，可老師卻對我的舉手視而不見，直到學(xué)完單詞改學(xué)課文時，老師才叫我讀一下第一課的大標題，之后一直到下課老師就再也沒有叫我，下課之后，老師對我們說有英語興趣小組，我眼前又出了一絲希望，心里默默的想著：只要我參加了英語興趣小組老師就會叫我回答問題了吧。
終于堅持到了下午第三節(jié)課，只要一下課，我就去英語小組，我心里想著。下課了，我背上書包迫不及待的奔向英語小組——一年級九班，來到教室之后，已經(jīng)來啦許多人，我馬上搶了最后一位，其他的人都等老師怎么說，老師是教我們的英語老師，她說：“人太多了，我要挑幾個人回班級”。我心里默默的想著：“別選我千萬別選我”！誰知結(jié)果正好相反——她說：五六班的舉手！我和我班的'同學(xué)紛紛舉了手，老師挑的里面有我，我只好回班級，結(jié)果就對英語沒了信心，希望英語老師看到這篇作文時，能引起你的注意。
哎，今天，真煩吶！不知下次英語課會怎么樣，希望別像今天這樣，因為我喜歡英語課呀！
