　　Recently, the students of senior 3 in our school have had a discussion about whether we should have classes on weekends.

　　30% of them think they should have classes on weekends because the college entrance examinations will be held in June, and students should make full use of free time to review what they have learnt.

　　Another 30% are against the idea of having classes on weekends. They believe students should have a good rest on weekends so that they can study more effectively during the weekdays.

　　The other 40% of the students don’t agree with either of the ideas above. In their opinion, study and rest are both important for students. They suggest one day of the weekend should be used to study and the other day to have a rest.

　　I went hiking to a mountain with my friends last summer。

　　It was a good trip at the beginning but something unexpected happened on the half way。 One of my friends suddenly felt a terrible pain in his stomach and he couldn‘t move any further。 Nobody knew what to do。

　　One girl tried to call her mum with her mobile phone but there was no signal in the mountain area。 Luckily we brought a tent with us。 We put it up and let him rest in it。 He took some medicine。 Then he drank some water， and ate some food。 After a while， he felt much better and we walked on。 We all enjoyed ourselves on the top of the mountain。

The green trees around me and I could hear the birds singing all the time. It was a paradise for me.

　　However, even the small paradise can’t avoid being polluted seriously. The environment is no more clean, the river becomes smaller and the water is so dirty. When I see this, I feel so pity. If we lose the clean land, how can we survive for long. Protecting the environment is in need.

　　今天傍晚，我本以為我的父親會在學校出現，并遞給我一份熱氣騰騰的美食，可他，卻缺席了。這令我很傷心，也很失落，當我看到其他（她）同學的父母來送飯，有說有笑，心里別提有多難受了。我失望傷心地走在操場上，一個足球飛過來。砰一下飛在我頭上，差點昏在那兒。痛苦，失落，傷心圍繞著我，我竟哭了起來，那幾個玩球的.人也落荒而逃。這時有一個聲音“鄭錦霞怎么哭啦？”

　　我一抬頭，見是Miss黃，便把眼淚抹了抹說“沒什么。”

　　Miss黃一眼就看出來了“是不是爸爸媽媽沒來？你看，鴨肉。想不想吃？那就不要哭了，吃點東西吧！”

　　我看了一眼，里面不僅有鴨肉，還有紅辣椒和青椒。口水直流，沒想到平時兇狠的Miss黃卻有天使般的樣子。我嘗了一個，感覺還挺好吃，便狼吞虎咽地吃進肚子里，Miss黃看了，笑著說：“你看你，像不像個老人，并且長著青色和紅色的胡子。”我舔了舔手，也笑了。我的心平靜了。

　　Nowadays more and more families own private cars. Private cars, as the product of modem civilization, have been playing a vital role in people's daily activities. First, private cars are a convenient means of transportation. You can go wherever you like. Secondly, there is no doubt that private cars will have a great impact on the economic growth. The rapid car industry growth will contribute much to keeping the country's economy growing at a higher rate in the near futrue.

　　But every coin has two sides. The development of the private cars will bring about a series of problems. For example, the polluted air given off by cars will do great harm to our health, too many private cars will lead to traffic jams and a great deal of energy will be wasted and so on.

　　So I think we should take advantages of private cars and make them serve us better. Meantime we hope that satisfactory solutions to these negative problems will be found soon.

　　現在，越來越多的家庭擁有私家車。私家車作為現代文明的產物，在人們日常生活中扮演了重要的角色。首先，私家車是很方便的交通工具，你可以開車到處跑；其次，毫無疑問私家車對經，濟的增長起到很大的作用。在不遠的將來，快速發展的汽車工業在保持國家以較高速度的增長方面將做出很大的貢獻。

　　現在越來越多的私家車進入了普通家庭。人們每天開著私家車上下班。周末，私家車可以載著家人出門愉快地郊游。城市的.人們大多數都非常喜歡私家車。更重要的是汽車工業的發展會刺激鋼鐵等其它行業的發展。因此，私家車有利于經濟增長。

　　像任何事物一樣，私家車也有多面性。私家車也帶來一系列嚴重的問題，例如，街道因車輛多而擁擠不堪，不僅引起交通事故，每年造成大量的人員傷亡，而且私家車還制造噪音，排放廢氣。但是我相信我們會很快解決這些問題。
