　　記得那年金秋，我滿心歡喜地踏入了中學的校門，遐想中學生活的美好，憧憬著，向往著。但我卻不知道，自己笑對的是一條艱苦而漫長的路。小學從未接觸過英語的我，在那些陌生的單詞和音標面前，就像一只無助的流浪小狗。我讀起英語來分外吃力，一天都記不住十個單詞。記得第一次英語測試滿分是一百分，而我只考了六十一分，生生站在了及格的懸崖邊上。

　　這給成績優等的`我帶來了許多痛苦和壓力，父母的批評更使我開始抵觸英語，早讀不讀書了，單詞也干脆不記了。可想想自己其他科目的成績，哪科不是在班里名列前茅的，唯獨英語，都快倒數了。如果就這樣放棄，我怎么對得起辛苦教育我的老師，怎么對得起養育我的父母，又怎么對得起我自己。用一個星期調整情緒后，我開始了與英語的對抗，我要跨越楚河漢界，征服這一片英語的世界。

　　我把每天的單詞音標抄下來貼在床頭和課桌桌角。這樣每天起床讀一讀，課前再讀一讀，久而久之就熟能生巧了。

　　對于聽寫，我也相信熟能生巧。一樣的，我把單詞貼在床頭，桌角，做成小卡片拿在手里。排隊時隨時拿出來記憶，這樣把零星的時間湊起來，就能提高學習效率。有了學習方法，單詞聽寫也被我打敗了。而最讓我頭疼的語法，我則用聯想法來記憶。把相關句子記下來，就能順藤摸瓜，記住語法了。

　　后來，在第一次段考中，我的英語考了全年級最高分。這都要歸功于學習的方法和堅持不懈的恒心。
