　　Today is Sunday. I went shopping with my father and mother. First, we went to the department store. My mother bought a beautiful dress. My father bought a pair of shoes. I had a new T-shirt, too. I like it very much. They bought some books for me. And then, we went to the supermarket. We bought some meats, vegetables, drinks and snacks. At Four o’clock, we went home by bus. What a happy day!

　　如今已是21世紀，英語已成為世界語言，我才剛剛接受英語，對英語了解的甚是膚淺，因此上網惡補了一番。英語，english，也稱美語，作為當今世界事實上的國際社交語言，它取得的成功是史無前例的。從使用它的人口來說，以英語為母語的人數僅次于漢語而居世界第二位，大約有四億多人。英語是用音標拼成的，我的《英漢小詞典》上約有5500個單詞和短語。oh！mygood！漢語有好幾萬個呢，英語才那么少，怪不是是世界語的，越方便越適于交流嘛！不過，英語據我所知，有一般現在式、一般過去式、一般將來式……好多啊！今天，我在網上找到一個劍橋英語網站，里面有好多英語語法呢，還有什么“劍橋英語一級單體預備表”、“劍橋英語一級筆記”、“如何記單詞”、“英語大全444法”看的'我是眼花繚亂、目不暇接。我在上面啃了一天，還找到了444個日常口頭用語，我一個一個的把它們拼寫下來，不過那么多個我怎么全會呢？所以就得用字典了，在網上也有英語字典，我遇到不會的單詞就在上面查，這種字典是有英語單詞、音標和釋義的那種，很好用。唔，英語，你真有趣。
