　　2月28日上午，學校組織了英語競賽。

　　我急急忙忙走進考場，只見其他同學已經整整齊齊地坐在考場里了，而且正認真看考題。于是，我趕緊坐好準備應試。低頭一看整整三頁紙，啊！這么多考題，我心里暗自一驚。

　　剛一落座，教室外的鈴聲響了，考試開始。監(jiān)考老師宣布可以做題了。

　　同學們開始動筆答卷。教室內十分安靜，只有監(jiān)考老師來回走動的聲音，和同學們答題的沙沙聲。前三道題比較簡單，我輕而易舉地就做完了，一切都是那么順利。

　　第四道題是選擇題，看著容易做起來難。看著括號后面的四個答案，我不敢輕易下筆，選錯了可是要扣分的，我思考著如何選擇。看看旁邊的同學，也是愁眉苦臉的，十分著急。唉！都怪我平時讀英語書馬馬虎虎的，囫圇吞棗，不求甚解，要不今天怎能感到吃力呢？還是跳過這只“老虎”趕緊做后面的題。

　　第五道題是判斷題，在每個句子后邊打鉤或打叉，然后指出有錯誤的`地方，又是一只“大老虎”。怎么辦？不能再讓這只“老虎”跑掉，要拿出武松打虎的精神打掉這只“大老虎”。我按照平常做題的思路，認真判斷每一道題，很快就打掉了這只“紙老虎”。我加快速度做完后面的題，然后再返回來攻克最后一個難關――選擇題，真是功夫不負有心人，我終于做完了選擇題，又是一只“紙老虎”被打掉。

　　最后十分鐘了，監(jiān)考老師提醒同學們加快答題速度，答完題的同學要仔細檢查。有的同學長長的嘆了口氣，如釋重負；有的同學抓耳撓腮，眉頭緊鎖還有的同學停筆檢查，已是成竹在胸；我也開始仔細檢查每一道題，心里還是忐忑不安。

　　哎！這一次艱難的英語競賽已結束。但選擇題和判斷題能全對嗎？我心里沒有十分的把握。
